Today was the day for the tossing of the blackberry! Unfortunately, Crystal frowns on tossing things overboard -- and with our luck the darn thing would have blown right back in our faces. So instead George decided to toss his much used machine into the Burnable Garbage trashcan.
No more blackberry -- no more ABM! Thanks for the memories.

Sounds like a fine routine you're settling into. You forgot to mention time for updating the blog. Almost seems like work, but we're certainly enjoying following along. Thanks for your literary and photographic efforts. Now we know why Alex comes by journalism so naturally.

I confess that I didn't think you would actually throw it away but am sure that you plan to make a technology upgrade when you return. A few more days on that boat and I will have to replace "Grumpy" with another one of the happier dwarfs because it won't fit anymore :-)
It truly is wonderful to see you smile and look so relaxed. That would not be the case if you were still stateside right now, trust me :-)

YEAH! I am so glad the blackberry is gone! Sounds like you are settling in really well, I can't wait for the 'dancing pictures'. It is snowing, high of maybe 10 tomorrow....just thouhgt you would like to know. Enjoy! keep the pictures coming.
